Horses can move through the straightforward classified offer. Saddles and tack need the Reflock review so the condition, fit history, and service plan are understood first.

Facebook groups and dealer clear-outs are doing a poor job of it.
The market for lightly used French saddles keeps growing — and the informal channels that absorb them (a Facebook group here, a seasonal dealer lot there) keep pricing a saddle on a single rear-cincel photo and a willing buyer.
Reflock gives that supply a calmer, brand-aware home. Listings run with the same structured report, the same panel pass, and the same customs paperwork — whether the saddle is a Devoucoux Puits d’âme in ordinary fit or an older Butet in Saumur leather.
We are not a peer-to-peer marketplace. We are a small, named atelier doing intake, pricing, re-flock and shipping end to end.

A Reflock listing is a small pipeline of named people. We keep it that way — every step has a receipt attached to the report.

Tell us the maker, model, tree size, flap length and the story — discipline, condition, age, what sort of work you’ve already had done.

Pricing + studio intake
We pull public and private comparables for that exact line and tree, agree a reserve with you, then book the saddler to photograph, measure and document.
- 03
Workshop pass
If a re-flock or panel adjustment is warranted, our partner workshops do it first, with before/after images and a signed labour note in the listing.
- 04
Pack + ship
We pack the saddle, arrange US/Canada shipping, and carry the customs paperwork that comes with the saddle arriving from France — the cost is on us.

Listings in the registry cluster between roughly $1,000 and $6,000 depending on condition, model and maker. An older Butet in original fit sits under the line; a refit Devoucoux with an atelier labour note sits over it. Pricing is set against recent comparable sales — not a hopeful ask.

Reflock for consignors and buyers.
Send the maker, model, tree size and a paragraph on its history. We come back with a pricing band, a proposed reserve, and an intake date. Inspection, photography, and any warranted re-flock all run through us — the US/Canada shipping and the customs paperwork included. Fees are quoted after review; this is separate from the free Horse and Tack Classified horse listing.
The full registry carries the inspection report on every saddle — maker, model, tree size, panel history, stitch count, wear marks and the workshop labour note where work has been done. Reach out for a specific listing and we will share the full report PDF before you commit.
